The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of the economic aspect of organizational culture, analysis of the main approaches to the problem of its forming in transitive conditions of social and economic system in Ukraine. It substantiates the author’s position concerning special features of organizational culture on macro and micro level, defines the property rights as a basic institute of organizational culture.
The effective organizational culture is proved to have a positive impact (decrease) on transaction costs of interaction between individuals, since it facilitates for getting a higher level of coordination of their economic and social activity while they are striving to achieve the common goals. This issue acquired a great importance in the modern conditions of transition from centralized coordination mechanism to free market.
There are distinguished and analyzed common civilizational and peculiar national elements that influence organizational culture of macrosystem. The special attention is paid to external and internal factors forming organizational culture of microsystem.
The research is resulted in development of theoretical conclusions and practical recommendations directed to provide an equilibrium state of Ukrainian organizational culture.
