A dependence has been obtained for determination of the average normal stress in the range of variation of the value of the ratio of the deformation zone length to the average strip thickness from 5 up to 50.
Theoretical determination of the contact stresses distribution in the deformation zone at cold rolling has been developed in view of different character of hardening steels. The technique has been developed and laws of distribution of resistance to deformation have been investigated in view of the influence of the temperature, speed and degree of deformation in the deformation zone at the cold rolling. A method has been developed for determination of the friction factor on experimental contact stresses epures. In such a way the influence of kinematical conditions on contact of the strip with roll has been taken into account.
The procedure for calculating the power-force parameters of the cold rolling process has been improved by means of which the use of modes of reduction on the continuous four-stand mill 1680 have been advanced.
Results of the thesis are used at the joint-stock company “Zaporizhstal”.
