The design of the adaptation for the industrial furnace СШВ is developed, allowing carrying out process of thermal spraying in vacuum on a cold and hot surface of a cutting element.
For connection of cyborite with the firm alloy VK15, its surface was sprayed in vacuum by layers activate chemical elements of Ti, Al, Ni and Si, then welding by compression was carried out with getting the maximal durability of connection up to 205 МPа.
Metallographic researches and the microprobe analysis have allowed the following: to determine qualitative structure of a diffused layer, its thickness, to reveal the most basic mobile chemical elements (Fe, Co and Ni) which determine high durability of connection at small thickness of a diffused layer of 5…10 microns.
The industrial tests of the cutting tool which were carried out in ОПО a factory of the process equipment (Mariupol), ISM АS Ukraine (Kiev), БЗПМ (Brovary), НПО "Azovmach" (Mariupol) have confirmed high operational reliability of connection DSHMAP and CB with steel (up to 500 МPа) by the method of welding by compression and preservation of physical and chemical properties of diamond and cyborite at a level of mechanically fixed plates and high cutting properties of the tool. Expected economic benefit of introduction of technological process of welding by compression instead of soldering by the argentiferous solder ПСр-45 will make 483200 grivnas.
